Dr. Bronner's Magic Hair Creme Review

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
No, your memory is not failing you, nor is it that funny taste that may have been in your drink.  Although, if that actually happened, you may want to look into it.  You may have seen this post before.  In an attempt to make everything easier to navigate for everyone, I am working on transferring all of the old beauty and craft posts from the recipe blog to their appropriate homes on the newer wings.  I'll be only one a day so as not to clog up your feeds, so please bear with all the boring re-caps!

I'll get straight to the point: this stuff is fucking impressive.

I've used about half the bottle and when I run out, I may build a little shrine to it.  This will end up being one of the few beauty products I'm impressed enough with to add to my amazon wishlist.

This bottle is 6oz and goes for about 9 bucks on amazon right now.  I have no idea how much it was in the store because I didn't buy this, it was a gift.  However, I can't tell you how massively worth 9 dollars this bottle is.  It lasts AGES.

The smell is reasonably strong, but I adore it.  Its minty and herb-y and very natural.  And damn does this stuff go a long way.  I have extremely thick hair down to the middle of my back and one pump worked through wet hair is plenty.  Comb this stuff through your hair when its wet, let it dry, and it looks amazing whether you just leave it or whether your straighten it afterwards.

LOVE this stuff, adore it, can not recommend it any harder, will definitely try to get more when I run out.

It's time for my first beauty review!  YAY!  As usual, I'm not getting paid for this.  I wish I was, though.  They could pay me in lots and lots more of their stuff.  This is the first eos product I've tried and I want MORE.

I hadn't planned this one, I promise.  I was just putting on my lip balm and realized that I have about 5 other tubes of other brands around the house and I don't even know where they are located because I love this one so much.

Its eos Summer Fruit lip balm and this shit is amazing.  I've been using it for a few months now and I neither know, nor care where any of my other lip balms are.  They are probably feeling rejected and crying in the closet in the bottom of an old purse somewhere.

The container is adorable.  I love that the top screws on instead of the pop-off tops a lot of balms have...They can be impossible to get open if you're wearing gloves or have wet hands.  This puppy's easy, though, even with gloves.  Nice in the winter, because sometimes I'd just rather have chapped lips than cold hands.

I really think this may be the most I've used out of a lip balm without losing it.  If I lost this stuff, I'd panic.  I'll be fiendishly hoarding every flavor I can find at our store from now on, although, sadly they only had this one and mint.  The mint one shall be mine next time I'm at that store, though.

Oh yes.

It shall be mine.

(hehe, name that movie)

*Note, that is not a stain on my counter, it is super glue.  Damned messy crafting projects...Anyone know how to get super glue gel off of a tile counter??

Estee Lauder Brush Review

*This was a gift from a friend, but opinions are 100% honest and my own.

Yet another review from the Big Box o' Awesome, this Estee Lauder brush set.

They are clear with a black pattern and gold colored accents.  I'm not sure what they are made of, but as clear as they are and as durable as they seem, I'd guess maybe acrylic.

The brow brush is...well...a brow brush.  I needed one and this works great, but I don't judge brushes based on those as I've yet to see anyone be able to fuck one up.  :)  None of these had numbers or anything on them, so it is anyone's guess as to how to find them!  >.<

These are the other two brushes and they are wonderful.  That smaller one has become a go-to for me.  It makes detailed eye shadow application so much better.  My MAC set came with some nice eye shadow brushes, but they were all closer to the larger brush's size, so that tiny beauty was a welcomed addition to my collection.

All in all, I'd say these brushes are good quality.  They are soft and hold their shape, and I've cleaned them several times since I've had them and have had no shedding and they apply like a dream, even with cheaper shadows.  I'm enjoying them and I hope they hold up for years to come, so if you see a set I'd recommend snapping them up.

Ulta - Last one, promise!

I think this about wraps it up for the things that were in the box o' awesome that I'd planned to review.  Except for the Sephora lashes, which there are no pictures of on, but they rocked!

This color is quite beautiful, actually, no matter how you apply it.  This is ULTA eyeshadow in Peacock.

It is sort of a gunmetal grey with a blue sheen and is VERY metallic.  Also, for a dark color, it has surprisingly little fallout.

Definitely a great one to have tried!

Since that gets me caught up on beauty reviews, I suppose that means its time to do some makeup shopping, MUAHAHAHA!  Seriously, though, I have to soon, I'm almost out of concealer and...no.  Just, no.
