Skinfood BB Cream Review

So, recently it was mah burrfday!  My bestie, being the awesome person she is, ordered me the Skinfood Good Afternoon Peach Green Tea BB cream and concealer.  I fell IN LOVE straight away, so I guess that means its time for the review!

First off, when I opened the package, I saw this super cute box it was in.  I love the little teacup cutout.

As a bonus, there was this little packet of samples included.  <3 samples.

This is what was in there.  I don't usually review samples as I like to use something more than once before passing a verdict, however, once in a blue moon there is a product that just really, truly wows me in one go.  If any of these have that effect when I try them, I'll be sure to post a review!

Also...Um...What is that volumer stuff?  Any ideas?  Anyone?  I can't read most of the writing on it.  *.*

Anywho, upon opening the cute little box, this was inside.  The tube is cute, as you can see, and a good size - about the same as any other foundation I've tried.

Here's what it looks like straight out of the tube.  It isn't too thick or too thin, it blends beautifully, is easy to work with and...I loves it.  Just in case I haven't mentioned it yet, this stuff smells FUCKING AMAZING.  Most foundations I've tried have a funky, sort of chemically, weird odor to them, even when they claim to have none at all, so I as pleasantly surprised when I opened it up and was hit with this amazing scent.

As you can see, once blended, it does just what a foundation is supposed to do.  It looks gorgeous once you have it on and feels much lighter than other foundations.  This was my first experience with a BB cream and I was pleasantly surprised.  I'd hoped for something better than other foundations I'd tried in the past, but really expected it to be on par, however it hit the ball right out of the park...And yay for SPF 20!  The last foundation I had was a tinted sunscreen foundation, it ran about the same as this one (though I got it on sale for like $4), AND only had SPF 15.  While I still wish there was an SPF 40 or 50 foundation, I will certainly take the extra 5 points!

It isn't full coverage, I wouldn't say...More along the lines of medium, which is just perfect for me.  Usually if I have bad breakouts, there is no such thing as a "full-coverage" foundation to fix that and I *have* to use concealer to cover them.

This stuff goes for around $12 plus shipping on amazon and I can't tell you how worth it it is.  The shipping does take a bit since it came from overseas, but it was so worth the wait.  Due to my super sensitive skin, I've never found something that works quite this well, and this will be my go-to foundation from now on.  Unless something better comes along.  :)
